BIOGRAPHY
Finding inspiration in the ambitiousness of the British indie music scene, The Dirt Tracks owes just as much to the likes of Bowie and Kraftwerk as it does to modern day contemporaries. With a firm focus on melody, The Dirt Tracks: Karl, Masid, Miquel, Rafa and Coma have a keen collective ear creating blissful indie-rock. The band was initially formed in 2000 under the name of Oddshow. Throughout the years of gigs and concerts, hard work and various line-ups, the band developed their style and started to create their own themes, the big moment came in 2006 when they produced their first album, Puppets, to critical acclaim.

They were praised by the press in Spain, the Puppets release galvanized the members, giving them a desire to move forward and refine the sound. The second album Shapes was mastered at Abbey Road London, it was an album revised and perfected to the finest detail with lots of studio time sent on its creation. 2011 has been an incredibly productive year. The new EP Never Been to Mars was released, including a UK tour of the same name, this went along with the release of the single and great criticism from both the UK and Spanish press.
